ASTROLOGY
I discovered the gifts and insights of Astrology many Moons ago. It was during the early 70’s when I was studying in Ann Arbor, at the University of Michigan. I was there to get a formal education, to pursue a career and instead I received a very different type of education.
During that time, the world was in a state of flux. People were protesting against the “societal- norms”. The status quo was being challenged, and I discovered there was a whole new world that I had never experienced. I began studying metaphysics, and pursuing spiritual ways of being. That is when I discovered Astrology. I wanted to understand myself and how to change. I had a reading from a Professional Astrologer, Ray Merriman. He was a friend of a friend. And then I discovered Michael and Stephen Erlewine, the men behind Matrix Software. Stephen Erlewine created an Astrological Calendar. A friend suggested using the calendar by following the cycles of the moon and the various aspects it created with the other planets. In doing so, I started observing myself, people’s behaviors and what was happening in the world around me. I wanted to see if there was value in Astrology and if it would be a valuable tool.
I studied the basic terms of Astrology and kept the calendar with me. I saw that it was extremely beneficial, and intensified my studies. What I loved the most is the practical insight Astrology provided. It was useful in giving me many AHA moments that I might have missed.
I wanted to share a little of my history with you so you could understand my perspective on Astrology. I like to deal with issues happening now. That is why I mainly deal with transits (what is happening in the sky now) and how it relates to you.
I will share a few basics. The Birth Chart (Natal Chart) is a map of the planets at the time you were born. A Natal Chart is represented in a circle, showing where all your planets are located. The chart is divided into 12 pie shape sections, called houses. Each section represents a specific environment or view. When I send your chart, I will send a basic information sheet. Hopefully, that will provide you with some understanding while we discuss your chart. The wealth of information can be overwhelming to those unfamiliar to Astrology. I feel simplicity is the best, especially for those new to Astrology.
Below you will find a tool to get a computerized version of your chart. Be forwarned, you will be overwhelmed by the amount of information there and it won't all necessarily make sense or be meaningful to you. That is where I come in. I will break this all down for you in a way that is easy for you to understand and give information that will be personal to you.
